Brad Leshinske PhD. CSCS*D
Owner/Director of Sports Science and Performance
Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Exercise Science and Sports Fitness Administration at Saint Xavier University
Strength and Conditioning Coach
As a strength and conditioning coach for 14 years, the road to my current position has been a blast. I started as an athlete at North Park University playing football. As a senior I worked at Atheltico Physical therapy doing rehab aid work with adults and athletes. Post graduation I worked as a personal trainer at Highland Park were I began their first speed and agility class. I worked with over 60 clients a week in personal training and with over 30 athletes a week in sports performance. I left Highland Park and worked at TP Sports, just training athletes. Within that facility we had some of the best athletes on the south side of Chicago train there. My boss left and I opened my own shop, Athletic Edge Sports Performance in 2008. During that time from '08 -'12 I trained over 5000 athletes in various sports. I moved to Florida in pursuit of helping a friends business out in which we trained more than 100 athletes a day from youth do professional. In 2014 I moved back home to Chicago and have been working for Fit Code LLC for 3 years and I am happy to come to Mount Prospect and train athletes and adults in the realm of Human Performance. I am also the coordinator of Exercise Science at Saint Xavier where I have the opportunity to help new coaches within our field.

I graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Benedictine University in 2019. At Benedictine, I was one of the members of the inaugural team for the Men’s Volleyball program in 2015 and was an NCAA scholar athlete throughout all of my 4 years of eligibility. Upon graduation, I moved to London to play volleyball in the top division in England and get my MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science with a specialism in Strength and Conditioning. I am excited to help athletes achieve their goals and ambitions.
